The Beauty of Giving

Together, we can make a difference!

More than ever, acts of kindness and expressing from our hearts are so vital for ourselves and each other.

Today, there are so many crazy things happening in our world. We are in the third year of dealing with the terrorist, called Covid-19 with old and new diseases taking over the health of both young and old.

The oceans are sick. The mountains are sick. The desert, rivers, canyons, pastures, valleys, and lakes, … all are sick. Even people are rotting inside! There are acts of violence in schools, groceries stores, and even at places people call “home.”

A very simple gesture of kindness can make a lot of difference.

This month, I sent my team to make all kinds of donations from clothing, blankets, towels, shoes, and more to the Women’s Crisis Center in Grants Pass, Oregon. I am filled with joy when I can give to others. I encourage everyone to reach out to your community.  Let’s foster compassion, generosity, caring, and love.

God has blessed us so much in our lives. I want to share my blessings, especially to those less fortunate than I am. I will continue to reach out in every way I can.

Learn More About Women’s Crisis Center

The Women’s Crisis Support Team (WCST) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of domestic violence and sexual assault in Josephine County through intervention, prevention, and safe shelter.  WCST was formed in 1977 as the Women’s Coalition of Josephine County, and operated entirely as a volunteer program and hot line for rape victims.  In 1980 the organization changed its name, expanded its scope, and incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to the struggle against both domestic violence and sexual assault.

WCST has evolved into one of the community’s most active, recognized, and respected non-profit organizations.  One thing will never change: WCST’s commitment to helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and to mitigating the physical, emotional and societal damage caused by violence in the home.
