Here is an excerpt from my book, The Silent Master: Awakening the Power Within:
5. Have A Plan.
Once you know what you want, make a specific plan of how you’re going to get it. And make your plan visible. Write it out. Put it on a sign. Put it on a tape recorder. Know clearly what intermediate steps you’re going to take to get there. This may seem like such an obvious thing to do, but you might be surprised how many people stop short of making such a plan. How many times have you said, “I’m going to…” or “I want to…” and never done anything about it?
Sometimes you stop short of making a plan because you honestly don’t know what to do. This is where visualization can help you. Remember, your Silent Master consciousness is ready to energize your every thought and feeling into form. When you don’t know what to do, take the visualization of your completed goal to your Silent Master in the type of meditation described in Chapter Three. Your Silent Master will see and hear the visualization, and in order to bring it forth, it will tell you what to do. You may get a feeling or intuition of a specific action to take. Or someone may suddenly come into your life to start the process. Or you may feel an inclination to go somewhere or call someone. The point is, by continuing to hold the visualization and listening receptively to your inner knowing, all the details of the manifestation will gradually manifest. Once you do know what to do, it’s up to you to follow through with commitment and perseverance.
