One of the greatest obstacles to achievement that I see is the tendency to give up. Sometimes people want to give up just when they are about to accomplish their goal. When this happens, your best friend is your will power. When I see my students lacking in will power, especially at a critical turning point, I do everything I can to rouse them. “No!” I say. “Don’t give up now! You can do it! Finish what you started!” Giving up is such a sad waste after putting in so much effort.
