Here is an excerpt from my book, Seven Steps to Inner Power:
Communing With Your Silent Master
In chapter five, I spoke of the physical training in Jung SuWon as a moving meditation. We saw that one of the most valuable goals of any meditation—moving or stationary—is to become one with your Silent Master Consciousness. Because your Silent Master is your personal focus for the Life Force of the Universe, through meditation you can seek to experience gifts of consciousness that exalt, uplift, energize, and harmonize your being, states of consciousness that are the experience of your true self. Thus, formal meditation can be one of the most satisfying, rewarding aspects of your life.
There is much to be said about the subject of meditation, and I will go into greater detail in another book. But for now, here is some introductory material so that you can begin meditation.
You meditate informally when you do just two things: you consciously affirm your unity with your Silent Master, and you quiet your mind to listen. You can do these things anywhere, anytime.”
