“No matter what your purpose for meditation, the reason for doing it is the same: to listen to your thoughts. On the most basic level, meditation is listening to the thoughts of your conscious or subconscious mind; on the most ideal level, meditation is listening to the thoughts of your Silent Master.
The process of meditation can be as informal as sitting quietly and listening to yourself. Or, you can adopt formal meditation postures and procedures to strive for deeper states of consciousness. Formal meditation as I teach it is a direct means for contacting your Silent Master.”
