In my book, Seven Steps to Inner Power:
“Purity
Knowing the truth about your real self, as we discussed previously, is an act of purity. “Purity” means unmixed, unadulterated, unalloyed. Therefore, purity implies oneness, doesn’t it? One substance, without anything foreign mixed in. We routinely wash our bodies because we have a natural desire to remove anything foreign from our physical being. So, when we reject foreign, limited concepts about ourselves, we are expressing purity. We don’t want our consciousness to hold “poisons” and foreign impurities such as anger, hurt, frustration, and other negatives, because they may take form as disease, including high blood pressure, heart attacks, and migraines.”
