In my book Seven Steps to Inner Power: How to Break Through to Awesome, I ask:
What do you still need so you can reach your destination and complete the transformation you desire?
Patience is the final step in the creative process. Without it, we risk undoing all the progress we’ve worked so hard to achieve.
One of nature’s most powerful reminders of patience is the transformation of the caterpillar into a butterfly. Its beingness changes drastically from one form to another—a process that cannot be rushed.
The caterpillar spends time feeding and preparing itself to grow. When it reaches a certain point, it forms a cocoon and waits in stillness. In that sacred pause, transformation begins.
I’ve seen many people give up right before their breakthrough. They’ve done the hard work, stayed committed, and sacrificed—but when the results don’t come fast enough, they lose faith.
But just like the caterpillar, you must trust the hidden process. You are not being delayed—you are being developed.
Transformation Reminders
- Embrace the moment. Growth begins by accepting exactly where you are.
- Release what’s behind. Let go of anything that no longer serves who you’re becoming.
- Nourish yourself. Feed your mind, body, and spirit with what uplifts you.
- Trust the unseen. Even when progress isn’t visible, change is still unfolding.
- Be patient. This is the final and most powerful step. True transformation cannot be rushed—it unfolds in perfect timing.
Be gentle with yourself. You’re growing wings—let the process shape and strengthen you.
Maybe there’s an area in your life that needs this kind of radical transformation. If so, remember: patience isn’t passive—it’s powerful.
Trust the timing. Honor the process. Your wings are forming.
