“Energy has a ‘sticky’ quality. If you aren’t aware of the energy states around you, you will likely pick up undesirable energy without even noticing.
Have you had the experience of feeling good, then spending some time around a depressed person? Did you later experience that your cheerful mood just vanished and that you were now feeling depressed yourself?
This can’t happen if you simply make yourself consciously aware of the person’s state and make a point of continuing to emanate your own higher energy of love and well-being.” “The First Element” By Dr. Tae Yun Kim
I ran across a group of smiley face pictures when I was trying to find a picture for another blog.
When I saw the pictures, they made me smile because they showed exactly what I’ve learned from my mentor, Dr. Tae Yun Kim (above) about Ki Energy, and about the way energy affects myself and others. Good and bad.
One of the pictures showed a group of bright yellow smileys with one, frowning, red faced smiley in the middle.
When I saw the picture, I thought of the times when I’ve been in a meeting and everyone was in a good mood at the start of the meeting, except for that one crotchety, negative person.
Depending on the energy of the other people in the room, Dr. Kim teaches, by the end of the meeting likely one of the following two things will happen –
1) The person who is in a bad mood is so negative, that by the end of the meeting everyone else is in a bad mood too.
Such a bummer! If I’m in a meeting like that, and end up coming out of the meeting in a bad mood, I realize now, from what Dr. Kim teaches, that I let that frowny-faced person’s negative energy affect me.
2) On the other hand, the energy of everyone else in the meeting may be so positive and upbeat, that the end result is that the lone -in-a-bad-mood person, changes, and is in a good mood at the end of the meeting. Yea! Yahoo!
From Dr. Kim I have learned that positive energy can push back negative energy, like sunlight pushes away the night darkness. This is true, because, you can, like the end of Dr. Kim’s quote says-
“…Make yourself consciously aware of the person’s state and make a point of continuing to emanate your own higher energy of love and well-being.” “The First Element” By Dr. Tae Yun Kim
