Freedom.

It’s something we enjoy every day as Americans.

We can pretty much do what we want to in our lives. We all have the choice.

Go to school. Get a job. Get married. Raise kids. Or not.

Some people choose to not go to school, to not get a job or get married or have kids.

That’s okay. That’s their CHOICE.

That’s what freedom is all about.

But Freedom isn’t “free”.

There is a price that we must pay. The problem is, unless you pay from your own pocket, it’s hard to recognize or appreciate the value.

Our U.S. Armed Forces are actively protecting America so that we CAN be free. And they do this at a very high price…. with their lives.

*** shout out to the U.S. Armed Forces #usarmy #marines #navy #airforce #coastguard – THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! ***

Dr. Tae Yun Kim teaches about Freedom. Not only the ability to go wherever you want to go or do what you want to do.  But our own Self Freedom. Freedom from our own fears. Freedom from our own self-doubts. Freedom from our weaknesses.

Dr. Tae Yun Kim teaches that we are our own worst enemies.

What stops someone from becoming what they want to become?

Family pressure?

Fear of failure?

Self doubt?

It’s usually our own SELVES who block us, create the barriers and the obstacles that stop us from achieving our dreams & goals.

I just saw the movie “Red Dawn” again… the remake in 2012 with the attack of North Korea on U.S. soil.

The Marine brother who takes charge of the kids to form a band of renegades calling themselves the Wolverines gives a speech saying that he was going to fight the enemy because this was his home.

So they become a powerhouse to fight against the enemy invaders, and they make a big impact on all of America as groups around America start to form to fight back.

What about me? What am I willing to fight for in my life? What is so important to me that I would put my life on the line to overcome the challenges and rise above?

Is my own life worth it? Should I be that dedicated, that determined, that forceful to overcome my own fears? my own self doubts?

Yes! I should be and I am!

I am not going to let any terrorists – fear, self-doubt, lack of confidence, arrogance, self-righteousness – take control of MY FREEDOM!

I am very thankful to Dr. Tae Yun Kim for teaching me and showing me that I CAN stand up to my own enemies, my own fears, my own self-doubts to achieve VICTORY in my life!

He Can Do, She Can Do, Why Not Me!
