Dr. Tae Yun Kim, Grandmaster, Empowers Patriots at the Lincoln Day Dinner 2025

On March 22, 2025, I had the distinct honor of being a guest speaker at the Jackson County Oregon Lincoln Day Fundraising Dinner, held at the beautiful Rogue Valley Country Club in Medford, OR. Surrounded by dedicated patriots, passionate leaders, and proud Americans, we came together to celebrate the legacy of President Abraham Lincoln and the enduring values that make our nation great. It was a truly meaningful evening filled with inspiration, unity, and a shared commitment to preserving the freedoms that define the American spirit.

Everywhere I go, it is my mission to share my voice to make a difference. I am grateful to have had this opportunity to speak heart to heart with the audience as I shared my story.

As a Korean War survivor, I have seen firsthand the devastation that comes when freedom is threatened. My journey to America was not just a change in geography—it was a transformation of my life. I immigrated to this great nation with my family in search of hope and opportunity, and when I became an American citizen, it was one of the proudest moments of my life.

I have lived the American Dream. This is something that is unique to America—the idea that anyone, regardless of where they come from, has the opportunity to achieve success through hard work, determination, and faith. In America, dreams do not have limits. I stood before you on March 22 as living proof that the American Dream is real.

I was also honored to share the stage with Congressman Cliff Bentz, whose powerful remarks inspired many—especially the high school students from Crater Lake Academy. I had the privilege of sponsoring these young leaders to attend the event because I believe it is our duty to inspire the next generation.

When we give students the opportunity to hear powerful messages of freedom, responsibility, and patriotism, we plant seeds of hope and purpose. These students are the future of America, and I am committed to supporting their growth so they, too, can live their own American Dreams.

Our forefathers built this country on the principles of freedom, faith, and self-reliance. Because of their sacrifices, I was given the opportunity to build a life, to achieve beyond what I ever imagined, and to give back to others.

But we must remain vigilant. We must fight to ensure that future generations can still pursue their dreams without government overreach, censorship, and policies that erode our freedoms.

The American Dream is under attack. The very freedoms and opportunities that allowed me to succeed are now being threatened. Now, more than ever, it is up to us—strong, courageous patriots and the Republican Party—to protect the foundations of this great nation. We must preserve the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and faith in God that have made America the land of opportunity, so that our future generations can strive to achieve the American Dream for themselves.

I extended my heartfelt gratitude to Chairwoman Joyce Michaelangelo, Vice Chair Colleen Roberts, and the Jackson County Republican Party Leadership Team for their unwavering commitment to liberty.

Their dedication to the people of Jackson County and to the values that make this nation strong is truly inspiring.

During my keynote remarks, I chose Chairwoman Joyce to break a board as part of a Ki energy demonstration. Breaking a board isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about the harmony of body, mind, and spirit. When you align your energy with clear intention, you don’t just break barriers—you break through your challenges. And she did it!

Remember, I always share my motto with everyone I meet: “He Can Do, She Can Do, Why Not Me!

To everyone who attended the Lincoln Day Dinner thank you for your love for America, your passion for freedom, and your strength of character. It was an honor to share my message with you.

May God bless each of you.
May God bless President Trump.
And may God bless the United States of America!
